We should look for the answer in our skin type - each of them has its own skin care routine, so there will be no single right solution here.
In connection with rosacea, the facial cleansing has many nuances related to this disease. Rosacea, firstly, is chronic, and secondly, it tends to worsen with burning, dryness and redness, so any skin care will not work here.
It is strictly forbidden to use scrubs, sponges and anything that can damage the skin mechanically!
We use the mildest cleansers in the form of gel, foam or milk, based on gentle active ingredients.
Check out micellar water! Yes, they are inferior to SLS in terms of cleansing quality, but they can provide what is needed for sensitive skin with rosacea. Don't forget - after micellar water you should wash your face with clean water.
In case of severe contamination, you can use milk or cleaning cream.
To remove make-up and sunscreen, it is recommended to use a double cleanse with hydrophilic oil or micellar water. Gentle washing does not destroy the skin barrier, which is often affected by rosacea. We do not recommend using brushes or sponges for face washing, they often irritate the skin.
It is not recommended to use regular facial cleanser and soap to wash and clean the face with rosacea.
