pHformula Dermabrasion cream - exfoliating mask

This cream-based formula is made for mild but effective "skin resurfacing". Developed with a gentle combination of salicylic acid, lactic acid and retinol to contribute to superficial exfoliation and stimulation of the cell renewal process, whereupon fine lines and wrinkles are reduced.

Active ingredients:

• Lactobionic acid - A non-irritating active ingredient and inhibitor of MMP (matrix metalloproteinase enzyme) that breaks down the skin's extracellular matrix and overall structure that causes fine lines, wrinkles and inelastic skin
• Salicylic acid - A powerful keratolytic ingredient that makes it easier for the other active ingredients to penetrate more efficiently
• Lactic acid - Helps break down the desmosomes (bonds between cells) to facilitate exfoliation of dead superficial cells, while moisturizing the skin.
• Retinol - Regulates cell turnover, stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis and acts as a powerful antioxidant.
• PH-DVCTM (delivery vehicle complex) - a superior delivery system used in pHformula's products to enhance the penetration of the active ingredients.
