Chemical peel Dermaceutic Cosmo Peel TCA is face treatment which suits perfectly for skin with signs of aging, pigmentations, postacne scars and acne. Chemical peel improves skin's firmness and elasticity, reduces inflammations, blemishes and pimples.

Chemical peel Dermaceutic Cosmo Peel TCA is available at 4 different concentrations/strengthes:

• 12% - a more soft peel, superficial peel
• 15% - a superficial peel
• 18%  - a medium deep peel
• 20% - a medium deep peel

Cosmo Peel contains TCA, whic is an abbreviation from trichloroacetic acid. TCA penetrates into the skin under the buffered controll and thus does not give skin inflammation. 

Chemical peel TCA treatment includes:

1. duble cleansing with treating facial cleanser from Dermaceutic
2. TCA application with pH 0,5 
3. Application of Cosmo Peel Cream containing lactic acid, salicylic acid, lemon acid, ascorbic acid, retinylpalmitat with pH 4,8

What is the result of TCA chemical peel?

According to Dermaceutic studies: 

• 81% of patients showed a significant improvement and reduction of wrinkles around the eyes. 
• 88% of patients have less signs of aging, such as wrinkles, fine lines and pigmentations
• 86% of patients showed a significant and continuous improvement in pigmentations' depth

What to think about before TCA peel?

1. Get your skin used to acids by using special products at home for at least 2 weeks before your first peel. 
2. Avoid using skincare products that can dry out your skin or other peels and exfoliators for at least 48 hours before treatment. 
3. Avoid artificial tan products for 48 hours before peel. 
4. Do not remove or shave hair in the face for at least 48 hours before peel
5. Avoid skincare products with high retinol concentration for at least 48 hours before treatment. 

What happens after TCA chemical peel?

Your skin wil be red and it will flake for 2-4 days. You should follow our recommendations for after-peel treatment at home

After-peel treatment after Dermaceutic TCA:

1. Do not wax or shave hair in the treated areas
2. Avoid skincare products with retinol
3. Avoid sweating: sauna, physical activity etc for at least 48 hours after the peel. Solexponering är ej tillåten. 
4. SPF 50 sunshield is a must have after TCA

How often should I do TCA chemical peel?

We recommend to do 2-4 treatments with 6-8 weeks interval.

How is TCA peel felt?

You will feel burning and stabbing feeling in the skin

Cosmo Kemisk Peel is only done after the consultation with our authorized doctor.

You should use Sun Ceutic SPF50 in order to protect the skin against damaging UV-radiation. Sunexposure should be avoided in at least 20 days before and a whole month after the treatment.

Contraindications:

Inflammated skin, Impetigo, Herpes, skin after direct sunexposure, pregnancy, breast-feeding, cancer, soft tissue diseases. Inform our staf about any earlier or existing medications and/or treatments.
