Removal of superficial blood vessels with diode 980 nm light waves is currently the "gold standard" for vessel removal.

How does vascular removal with light waves work?

The vessels become red and inflamed due to dead red blood cells settling on the vessel wall and irritating the vessel. Therefore, you see vessels on the skin as red stretches or diffuse redness. Light angioplasty produces pulsed flashes of light that pass through the skin and reach the vessels. There, the light breaks up the accumulated red blood cells (deoxyhemoglobin) and causes them to detach more easily from the vessel wall. When dead blood cells come off the vessel wall, the irritating factor that makes the vessels red and visible disappears. The vessels become less inflamed and irritated and are not visible on the skin's surface. The light does not damage the surface of the skin but only acts on the vessels, therefore this treatment is safe, easy and effective and does not damage surrounding tissues. You will see results without having to worry about side effects, vessel removal with light carries no risk of side effects or skin damage.

After the treatment, you may become red in the treated area, redness usually subsides shortly (sometimes up to a few days depending on skin sensitivity). Some swelling may occur after the treatment. Some customers also experience some itching in the treated area. During the treatment, you may feel small tingling or tingling in the skin.

Important to remember that Fog Light Stretch Mark Removal works best on superficial blood vessels on the face and on thin vessels on the legs (0.5 -3.0 mm)

How many treatments do you need?

It usually takes 3-5 treatments about two weeks apart to effectively reduce Rosacea vascular ruptures. We cannot cure Rosacea but only try to suppress the condition. New superficial blood vessels will always come back after a while and therefore we recommend some treatment from time to time with approximately 6-12 month intervals.

When treating varicose veins on slightly larger areas of the cheeks, swelling may occur, this is not dangerous but can feel uncomfortable. The swelling usually subsides within a day, but can sometimes remain for 2-3 days.

What do we recommend before treating varicose veins?

• avoid sunbathing and Bathrooms
• do not perform chemical peels two weeks before vessel removal
• do not use alcohol containing skin care products 3 days before vessel removal
• report any medications you are taking
• let us know about any skin care products you use
• do not thread/do not wax/do not shave at least 2-3 days before the treatment

What do we recommend after treating superficial blood vessels?

• avoid direct exposure to UV without sunscreen
• Feel free to eat C vitamins and antioxidants after the treatment
• use recommended skin care (no acids or retinol-containing products, no oil or alcohol-containing products)
• avoid sauna baths and alcohol consumption for two weeks after the treatment
• avoid strenuous physical activity after treatment.

Contraindications:

Pacemaker, Holter monitor or other implanted electrical device, epilepsy, pregnancy, the presence of metal substitutes at the treatment site, acute inflammatory disease, diabetes, oncological disease
